On Thursday 14th July 2022, the Federal Government and United Nations Joint Monitoring Team visited the Safe Space at Government Secondary School, Henshaw town, Calabar.

The team was led by Mr. Yinka of the United Nations, a representative from the Federal Ministry of Budget and Planning, United Nations Agencies Representatives in Cross River State, Civil Society Organisation Reference group in the state, a representative of Mirabel Center, Lagos, Ministry of International Development Corporation, Implementing Partners of the Spotlight Project in the State and Ministry of Women Affairs.

Feedback from the team was very positive. They highlighted the fact that GADA had implemented all the concerns raised during the last Monitoring visit, especially the branding. They were also excited about the response from the trained Guidance and Counselling teachers who were able to express their job description, the knowledge of the funders and the vision of the project.
